Women need to be where the money is.

We’re seeing a massive shift in the finance industry. Just like the dot-com boom of the late 90’s, we’ve entered a period of extreme innovation where disruptive companies and technology are influencing the future of the industry.

Spoiler alert: most of these companies and products are being built by men – meaning they often carry an inherent gender bias that can disadvantage women. 

Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency are at the forefront of this paradigm shift. The decentralized nature of the technology allows for economic equalization, but to reduce the gender-wealth gap, women need to participate. 


Here are few facts that keep us up at night:

📉 Globally, only 21% of crypto owners are women — and female ownership of Bitcoin and Ethereum are even lower at 15% and 20%.

⚠️ Of the top crypto companies around the world, only 5% have women in leadership positions.

🤕 A survey conducted by BlockFi showed that only 9% of women say they understand crypto.
